    Amazing laptop. I took the plunge on the 8600gs 256MB with WSXGA+ display and its awesome. I was going to wait till next month for the next generation but I needed a laptop ASAP for university. Ah well, hopefully I don't sell it and get another laptop soon otherwise I will end up losing money.

    My question is, how do you use the fingerprint reader? What software do I need to use to log into it with Windows? Please advise, any helpful download links would be appreciated, thanks!

    I don't know the specific software, check the driver CD and decide based on the name. Or support.asus.com.
