    Deal = 1745.

    Price includes: V2S-A1, 160GB External HD, Free shipping.

    That's the best deal I've found so far. I just ordered mine.

    Just a heads up for anyone ordering this laptop.

    I just got a V1s from Gentech for about 2 grand (with an upgraded hard drive). Seems like a good deal, but no free drive.

    I had some pre-order questions, and found Ken to be very responsive and indulgent.

    It would have been a good deal for me, but I'm in CA so i get hit with sales tax. >_< So I'm looking for out of state resellers. ^__^

    supposedly there was a typhoon in China so the shipment could be delayed. ETA for US resellers is tomorrow (20th) and Canada (23Rd) according to milestone. I will call tomorrow to check store stock as I am going to pick it up.

    I ordered from GenTechPC as well, email responses were very quick on my preorder questions. Considered picking up the dock too, but I'll hold off on that for now. Better deal than MilestonePC for non CA residents because of the free shipping (~$22 for me).

    I posted about it in the V2S Owner's Lounge. Delays and concerns about not having GDDR3 are what forced my decision.

    yeah you are right that would not make it worth it at all if it doesn't have DDR3.
