... and wow a much nicer looking machine in person. Lots of black, gunmetal and aluminum looking pieces at places where it should be. I wanted to take the stickers on the palm rest before i bought it but they are actually quite matching with a black background and shiny edge.
i could do a mini review if someone wants but i think there is a few already?

Did you conclude that the Z63A wasn't powerful enough for your needs? The A6Jc is a nice machine... not flashy, but classy still.
Take some pics -
ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
An excellent choice - I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Enjoy it, now that the the decision has been made. Pix would be definitely be nice, and another review with personal impressions is always welcome. congrats.

This is off topic...but ClearSkies, we have pretty much the IDENTICAL configuration for the Z63A...

Yeah, ain't that strange? And I wasn't even trying to do a copy bit.... I went with the Fujitsu drive though, 'cause Eddie suggested that he thought they were best in reliability from what they shipped over the past year.
Good to know I'm in respectable company, though -
I just wanted dedicated video for just a little software future proofing
I put my xp pro disc in and deleted/formated all the partitions but now everytime i restart, it ask me to choose windows home or pro... help? -

ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
No, the A6Jc is an Ensemble 15.4" model, although I think that the Z62 is also based on the same chassis so there are similarities. Example pix at ProPortable's site http://proportable.com/detail.aspx?ID=177 -

welcome to my pictorial mini-review
the colours are very well used, black around the screen, gunmetal around the keyboard. first touch impression was that it was very solid and NO plastic piece budged. The hinge is stiff but smooth
This front row sticks out a bit when the lid is closed. The silver around the buttons is actually the same brushed aluminum texture as touchpad buttons. The buttons are flushed and they are made of plastic but not cheap feeling. The transparent plastic covering the lights wabbles a bit such that when u are using the touchpad and your palm touches it, it will make a tiny noise.
Even better looking touchpad than the z63a imo, the brush aluminum on this is a tiny bit darker
the dots seems to printed on because it has no texture
quite a techy-looking webcamAttached Files:
