Now charging.... Haven't even turned it on yet, but it looks like nice little machine, especially for the price, only slightly more than a netbook.

Now for a little bit of tinkering, I've got :
    1) 8 gig USB.
    2) Windows 7 Home Premium DVD.
    3) Samsung PB22-J 128gb.

    plan is :
    - Install Win7 on USB.
    - Add the latest intel Rapid Storage drives on USB.
    - pull battery out.
    - put the SSD in place of the HD.
    - Install!

Should be a fun little project. It's a trial run for installing a SSD in a laptop. The SSD will eventually go into another notebook (HP Envy 14, baby!).

well all done. Install was a real breeze, and no incompatibility.

I have the usual pet peeves associated with this model. Vertical viewing angle not great (but I don't see this being a problem), touch pad sticky (it's the same material as the gloss plastic, and they put a sticker on it?!?), and I wished they'd gone for a matte screen (haven't tried outdoors yet), but overall, super pleased with the notbooke. It's like the (almost) perfect netbook+. What a nice little machine. Battery life at 90% after one hour and a bit. What more can you ask :) gonna try some 720p and 1080p videos now.
