Also if someone could show me the drivers for windows 7 that would be great, it seems Asus only supports windows 8.

The hardware port it plugs in probably does not have Windows 7 driver support. Did you install Windows 7 yourself once you got the computer? It may be tough to find 7 drivers, you'll have to go to each hard ware manufactures website and see if they have 7 drivers. Sounds like a bit of work but there should not be a whole lot of parts you actually will need to get drivers for.
The other option would be to put 8.1 back on there, then use a free program like classicshell if you prefer the look of 7. -

Our techs did suggest trying to reinstall the audio drivers, even though they are made for 8.1 they should still work on 7. Let me know if that helps it.

Also, make sure you are firm when you connect the plug. We had a lot of people report problems with the sub on the N550JK, and it turned out that it's a very snug fit; most were not pushing the connector into the port all the way.
