Just went through everything (all disks and all installed programs) and cannot find Power4Gear. I bought this from MilestonePC, and they are closed for a few days. Wondering if I'm not looking right. It's not on any cd's that came with it, and a preliminary search through programs is coming up with nothing. Any help?

My Power4Gear came under the category ATKACPI Utilities on the enclosed driver disk from GenTech.

Ok I think I see a process named something similar but how do you access the program? I can't find it listed in my programs list

There are roughly 2 ways to use P4G.

Firstly look on the laptop itself, there's a button with a man running, that's the P4G button. This will allow you to change the power settings.

Next thing you may also want to check it, go to your desktop, right click, properties, click on the screen saver tab, then click on POWER. You should see a drop down menu showing power schemes, select power4Gear, you may also want to have a look at the others too, but most people will use P4G. Then hit ok and apply and your P4G button should work on your laptop.
