I don't think it's any different from the normal R1F except for the better, customized specs that Milestone is putting in.

Asus will make this special configuration for us, not customized by us, all work will be done in Asus facility in Taiwan. It has 2 yr global warranty, the warranty can be done in any country without hassle, this is the major difference or "special".

One thing you may not know now, Asus NA is getting more strict on waranty restriction. Asus NA is working on a warranty policy now. 10 days ago, Asus told me it is already finished, Asus is asking one of their ABC employee to double check the English now, after that, you should see the warranty card packed in the notebook box starting from somewhere in April, Asus NA will not allow customization ( ensemble models ), including memory and HD. Now you can see point of our R1F special edition.
