    K401LB screen upgrade

    I got a K401LB last year for a good price. I like everything about the laptop except the screen is horrible - bad angles and washed out. It's probably a crappy TN panel.

    I wouldn't mind swapping it out for an IPS panel, but this is something I haven't done before.

    I've seen reference to panelook for upgrading other laptop screens, so a quick search yielded something like this:

    Anybody else here upgrade the screen on this model, or have any advice about doing this? Thanks!
