Hi to all,
I would like to pose a question, if I may.
My good friend recently bought an K52JC notebook. As she doesn't like seeing herself on webcam, I "switched off" the (built-in) webcam.
Now she wanted to switch the webcam on again, but she can't get it to work. For example, Yahoo Messenger, says no webcam can be found.
The thing is: I don't remember how I "switched off" the webcam... I _must_ have done something, but I just can't recall what... The device manager (of Windows 7) says that it works properly, so it is not 'disabled'. Just "switched off" (if that is even possible). I also don't recall entering the BIOS or anything (since my friend knows nothing about the BIOS).
I know my way around with computer hardware fairly well, and I probably "switched off" her webcam in such a simple spot (in Windows 7?) that I now just cannot recall where I "switched off" the webcam...
Can anyone with an Asus laptop with a built-in webcam give us some advice on how we can "switch on" my friend's webcam again? It was me who "switched off" her webcam and I feel kind of guilty for not remembering where I did that. I am responsible, so that's why I come here and ask this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, also by my friend.

JOSEA,
That was it, indeed! My friend's webcam works again.
I downloaded the K52J manual from the Asus website, but it wasn't in it.
Any which way, JOSEA, thank you so much for your reply. Your help is highly appreciated, by me, but more so by my friend (I had pointed her to this thread, of course). Thanks again!
