    I've been shopping around budget gaming laptops for my brother and I've got it down to the Asus K53SV (i5/540m version) for 649$ (on sale until Dec 1st) here in Canada.

    I was also considering some Acer models, but apparently the one's I had selected in this price group have severe throttling/over-heating issues, so I'm totally skipping them (thanks Acer forum section for saving me a potential headache lol).

    Before I pull the trigger and drive 45 minutes to pick it up, since shipping takes 1.5 weeks (who likes waiting?), I'd like to get some information from users regarding performance.

    If you could describe the FPS/Performance/Settings used in some, if not all games mentioned in the title, that would be great! :)

    PS: Pro's & Cons of the laptop would also be a plus.

    PSS: I'm aware of the 540m's estimated FPS in some titles, however I prefer and would put my trust into real-life user experiences over website tests/guesstimates (since they do not take into account new drivers, OC'ing, etc.).
