    Hi,

In advance, sorry for my poor English.

I wanted to update my laptop BIOS, though I did not have much need for it, just for curiosity, and it seems like I bricked my motherboard.

I downloaded official bios and offcial flash utiliti WinFlash from asus driver page, here.

So I started WinFlash, picked bios file, it was compatable according to WinFlash. So I started flashing, it erased, writed and veryfied successfully, and asked me to press enter to shut-down my laptop. Ok fine, did that.

Starded again laptop and just a black screen..., a brick.

I tried getting out motherboards battery, with no help.

Also tryed to press ctrl+home, it also did not help. Though couple of keyboard keys do not work, not sure if home does not work, but ctrl should work.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Try pressing DEL key and hold it down constantly after the system is powered on, see if you can access the BIOS or not.

Do you mean the Li-Ion battery? Or the CMOS battery? You may need to remove both; disconnecting the charger and Li-Ion battery and pressing the power button will reset the EC chip, while removing the CMOS battery and leaving it removed for awhile will reset the BIOS.
