Hello everyone, i'm new here and i've recently bought a Asus Zenbook UX32VD with the intel i5 processor wich it came with windows 7 installed but i've updated to windows 8 in the same day of my purchase and i've didn't even used Windows 7(just for the update). And since i'm using windows 8 (all drivers are up to date) the computer shuts dows in a random way(like once per week), i've checked the windows logs and i've found that the problem maker is a Kernel-Power Event 41 error. Now i'm back to Windows 7 to see if this will still happen.
I've read in this thread that the user hotsauce had this problem but i didn't found out any information in this thread on what might be causing this error or the solution for it (i've read that might be Chrome but i doubt it).
Does anyone have any clue of what might be?
Thanks in advance![]()
(Sorry for my English it's not my native language)
PS:Sorry for posting almost the same thing in 2 diferent threads.

I don't know that there's much you can do for a bad/corrupt kernel. I think Microsoft has a utility that will attempt to fix a number of OS problems, though; you can try downloading it and running it to see if it can fix the file:

That is a direct link to Microsoft's diagnostic software for Windows file and folder issues. I hope it helps!
