Well, many people have been reporting that every 50 words or so they will have a double typed letter. I had this problem and have fixed it. All I did was for to control panel, then hardware. Then I clicked "keyboard" and I changed "repeat delay" to the longest setting. I have tested it out and havent had this problem since, while as right before I probably would have had it happen once or twice in this post alone. Thought I'd make a new thread since I heard other asus's besides the g71 have had this issue.

Lol, I tried this a couple of days ago, and just to let you know it doesn't make a difference. I think the double typing is just a result of people not being used to the keyboard, since I haven't had the issue since the first day. And also, even if a double typing issue does exist, it could not be fixed using this method since a double typing issue would be either hardware or driver related, and not vista related. The only reasons I can think of that would explain this fixing anything are either the placebo effect or the keys are getting stuck, which I can find no evidence of.

Idk worked for me. I doubted it when I tried but I figured it was worth a shot. Some people have claimed to get used to the keyboard and the issue went away, so I think it is mostly the person. It could be that these keyboards send the signal a bit longer than most even if the keys went back up quickly.

Apparently the G51 doesnt have any problems, so thats good to hear. It probably could be the keyboards as you stated.

    I know i have a problem with my 7811 and typos :)
