Guys, last night there is something bad happened to my G1s. I accidently dropped some water to my keyboard. Now my laptop keyboard can not be used. the keyboard is not sticky yet, when it is pushed, it doesn not work at all. Right now, I am usingthe external keyboard. Can u suggest what should i do??

Ifthere is something I could do, could you please tell me step by step?

    Thx in advance.

ares_97, I suggest to not panic and just give the computer a few days to "dry" out. THIS MEANS NOT USING IT! After a few days turn it on and if it still isn't working then you fried something, but usually PCB components are fairly resilient. I wish you the best as I think we have all been there with at least one electric component before.

Basically if you spill water on your computer you need to stop using it ASAP, You will only burn out components if the water touches the solder and shorts our a circuit.

The best thing to do would be to turn off the computer, Take out the battery, Remove the keyboard, and use a blow drier or fan on low to help the components dry out, Let it air for a day or two until all of the water has evaporated. Then put the keyboard back in and using AC power turn it back on, If you hear any odd noises unplug it instantly.

Asus does not have accidental cover, As it isnt a workmanship fault they may not. If you were to send it in saying the keyboard isnt working properly and dont mention spilling water there is a good chance they would cover it.

I am not sure how to remove the keyboard in the G1S but generally the top bezel pops off (Sometimes you will have to take out the battery and remove screws from under the battery compartment) Then under the bezel is some screws holding the keyboard in place, remove them and gently slide out the keyboard, There will be a data ribbon under it which given you limited technical experience you should leave attached and just prop up the keyboard as best as possable to improve airflow. If you leave it for 3-4 days it should dry by itself without removing the keyboard.
