    Hi,

My keyboard got damaged due to water , my question is if i replace the keyboard is everything going to work like before?, some keys dont work, others do or one key activates other keys. This is what im planning on buying to replace the keyboard:

    KEYBOARD M50(US)W/VISTA KEY for G50V/G50VT

Keyboards are pretty passive components. I would suggest taking your current keyboard out and drying it out if possible. Just leave it in the sun for an afternoon. They're just switches and the only way it could be water damaged is if something was in the water that conducts electricity when dry.

If your keyboard has dried and something still goes wrong that's quite odd. The M50 keyboard would work, though.

take the keyboard off and check the ribbon. wipe the ribbon with an alcohol pad. dry the keyboard. it may help though unlikely

well it has been a long time since it got wet, a month or so, but is the keyboard replacement going to help, will things work regularly if I replace it, is it going to be like a new keyboard or is it just going to be like buying the keys,
