Did we ever find a fix for that other than uninstalling the synaptics driver? I want to be able to use the touchpad when im using the battery..so I dont want to have to disable/enable it through bios. But when im typing..i always hit the touchpad with my palm. Gah. Did synaptics ever fix their driver?

I haven't really been kept up to speed regarding the keyboard lag issue, but AFAIK, the fix will have to come from a BIOS update. Uninstalling the synaptics driver is only a workaround.
