My asus is still under warranty. A few days ago my H and J keys popped out. I was able to put them both back on... but my H key keeps falling off. I think the plastic hinge under the key broke. Will i be able to replace the keyboard if Asus sends me a replacement... or is it not as simple as that and I will need to send it in?

iT is very simple actually. On the back side you will find 2 screw holes marked with letter "k". Remove them. Above the fline of keys you will find 4 plastic latches. Push them in with a screwdriver from left to right lifting the kb as you go. On the far right and left there will also be some pressure latches. THose do not need to be pressed but you do have to push the keyboard in on the far right and left for it to clip in

It's really really simple, as Eddie mentioned.

All you need is a screwdriver, and a credit card. Unscrew the ones marked K, then take your CC and press down above the F1, F5, F10 and Insert(Usually they are the ones, but it should still be somewhere around there), and the keyboard should pop up.

To unplug the keyboard you will need to unclip it this is my V6V keyboad when its pluged in (click the thumbnail)

and again when I've taken it off you can see how I unclipped the white bit.

I have an Asus F3Jp and i have a similar problem with trying to replace the keyboard. I see the 4 latches above the F keys, but i don't see where the screws marked with K is on the bottom of the laptop. I've tried contacting customer support and the PDF they sent me doesn't say anything about the keyboard being screwed down. I can post/email the PDF to you if requested.
