This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     LCD Release button broken!

    So the button on my W3J to release the LCD Lid is broken. One of the tabs broke off and it won't stay in place anymore.

    Do you guys think Asus would stock any of these? Of all things to break, it had to be one crucial tiny little piece of plastic.

    You can check the ASUS eStore... I'm not sure if such a component would be listed separately or would for instance be given together with the LCD cover component...
