I have been getting parts for my Bb. Had a good HDD in USB enclosure. When I turn unit on, there is nothing on the screen. F2 for BIOS=NADA.
Blue lite comes on, I hear fan noise. CPU, DVD burner work OK in z71V.

    2. Is there any way to boot a Z71* from USB??

    3. How is the HDD supposed to be connected inside this machine?
Can not find any HDD housing/caddy parts @ asus store under Z71A.
My Z71V has a HDD housing kit (PN listed @ Asus). I requested info on Z71A housing kit, NADA RSVP from Asus.

    4. Should I RMA to Asus?
