OK, I've identified a color fix for the Z63a screen, based on a color calibration profile I ran with a product from ColorVision. This is likely to only work on the z63's screen, so the utility to the members here may be limited since most have more recent models. The correction is, to my eyes anyway, nothing short of stunning when compared to the *heavily* blue tinted RGB default profile. So that you don't have to take my sole opinion for it, AuroraS has run this fix on his Z63 and concurs (more or less) with my assessment of the change.

The process involves uploading a color profile to the HD and then running the exe file to load it into the onboard integrated video. There are a couple of caveats, as the profile must be reloaded every time if you recover from standby or hibernate, and the presence of the profile (on my machine, at least) can dramatically delay the system's response to a standby/hibernate request.

Anyone who is interested can PM me and I'll forward the details and files :).

ClearSkies really does have something special here... ever since using this new color profile, I can't go back to the original settings - they're just so blue and hard on the eyes.
These new colors make everything sharper and softer. Definitely worth a shot if you're a Z63a/W3A user who has always wondered why the colors looked washed out.
