I just read ciriolis' review on the asus Z81sp...and he talks about how bad the light leakage is on the LCD.

I've had my Z71V for a month and a half, and it has been like that this entire time...I just thought it was supposed to come that way and you couldn't avoid it.

Do all Z71V's have this? The light leakage is mainly at the bottom, especially (and annoyingly) noticeable when watching widescreen movies that still have black bars.

The backlight on the Z71v's seem to come through the screen more........ it's almost as if the bezels could be wider or tigher to the face of the system and they could avoid most of it. The Z71v is a great "bang for your buck" ..... but that's where it ends. You're getting what you're paying for with that system, but you're certainly not getting the absolute best.
