You want to go to ebay to look for a carring case for your new EEE 1000H and you type into your browser eeebay![]()
It just happened to me lol.
On that note tho, this is what I was looking for: Leather Case
The "branded" version cost like $65 but I am sure this rip off is just as good and I like the idea of a case thats not a case and protects from finger prints all at once.
I want the 1000H so I can have a notebook for when I cant really carry around my large 15" & backpack.

I've been looking at that or the pdair version for my 1000h as well. I just dont know how hot the 1000h will get with the bottom portion being covered by leather.
I also bought my 1000H since carrying the G1S is a pain in the ***. I actually dont even use the G1S as my main computer anymore, it's connected to my home theater via the HDMI for media use. I also have it always on (with a laptop cooler) and use Tversity to stream media to my ps3 and 360 around the house. Plus I got remote desktop working on the G1S so I can always connect to it with the 1000H. -
The 1000H comes with a slipcase, and I just plan to put it in that slipcase and then into my backpack. I felt that would be adequate to protect it.

Yeah I will get a small messenger bag (people having a lot of luck with the portable dvd player bags) for when I want to carry some gear with it.
I just wanted this one for when I am heading out to do something and I know all I want is max mobility/portability and all I need is the laptop (if I get a bag soon it will be filled with stuff and that kind of voids the point
Plus I think the leather should be more comfortable on my hands and help with finger prints. -
cool, let us know how how it it works out with that leather case with regards to operating temps.
btw, the finger print thing is very annoying... i always wipe down my 1000h whenever I put it down! -

Leather is not plush or anything, so it should not really change temps.
Plus I already have a cooling mod planned for the unit.
I have a few things I need to do, Im upgrading the ram/hdd
doing a cooling mod, and then I start messing with overclocking, modified video drivers for boosted performance and then I begin putting my emulator & games on there and see how good it works with the wiimote. -
I think I might go for the N10 instead of the EEE 1000H. My Asus has been taken over by some members of my family, and my MSI really isn't something I want to carry daily.
LOL you know you have been doing too much EEE PC research when....
