    I have an Assus laptop wich not have in BIOS ide or compatibility mode , only ahci. So I can not use ghost to put an image win 7 on it ...
    Any idea ?

    Hello and Welcome to our forum :)

    If I am correct, Ghost 9 uses V2I and I couldn't find any tools besides Norton Ghost to restore it.
    As it happens, it seems that Ghost is Trialware and a trial exists for the new versions of the software.

    I think you can use it to restore your image and then never touch ghost again. There are better alternatives.
