Hi all. I am thinking of buying the Asus F3Sv-AP073G from ASUSLaptops.co.uk but the first thing I will want to do is format and install a vanilla Windows XP without all the crap OEM installs ship with.
For this I will need all the drivers the laptop requires but I cannot seem to find anywhere that has all the drivers available for download? I have changed asus.com but can't even find the right model laptop![]()
Can someone point me in the right direction. I would rather download the latest drivers from Asus than use ones supplied on a 1 year old drivers disc in the box if possible.
Best regards,
Morgan

I found it easily, on the support as well as the general website.
support.asus.com
Click Download
Search F3Sv
Click "All"
You find all available drivers. There are no XP drivers unfortunately so you'll have to scavenge for those, perhaps in related but older "F" series notebooks... -
Thank you! -
You're welcome.

I am put off buying the F3Sv due to the lack of Windows XP drivers

ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
With MS cutting all manufacturers off from even offering to ship XP on their OEM or custom systems after Dec 06, I don't see Asus spending any time working on this since everything will be Vista in 6 months' time -

Without XP support I can't justify buying it. While I understand Microsoft pushing Vista it is simply not an option for me at present and probably won't be for at least another year.
It is a shame as it looks like a great system
