Does anyone else put the cloth sheet that came with the laptop in the box, and still use it whenever they shut their laptop?

Is this a bit anal retentive, or does it actually protect the screen and/or keyboard?

I doubt using a cloth will protect it any. A blow on the outside of a laptop, that is hard enough to damage the screen or keyboard wont be negated by a cloth sheet :D

Your best bet is getting a good case for it.

I currently only use the sleeve, but I carry it in a padded bag whenever I actually travel with it.
