I have a Asus K55A notebook and disassembled it for spring cleaning but now I am having trouble powering it on with the top keyboard assembly snapped into place over the top of mobo. :( I checked if the notebook could power on when the keyboard assembly was off the mainboard of course with power button, keyboard, and touchpad flat wires still attached and it powers on. Examining the keyboard assembly and the mobo there seems to be contacts points where the assembly and mainboard touch each other.
If anyone know what has happen here or has the same problem please let me know what the hell happened or if there is anything I can do before I depart this laptop plastic frame and install into a ITX enclosure.
