    Hello Asus users!

I just have a quick question. What product lines are similar to the G1s?

I ask this because I've recently installed Ubuntu 7.10 in dual-boot, and now I search the web for drivers and utilities. I'm aware of the thread at NBR, but I'm just wondering if there were user-created utilities for laptops similar to mine, so they would probably work on mine as well.
An interesting website I've found is http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/asus.html

But yes. All I want is a list of similar laptops. If anyone has additional information for Ubuntu/Debian drivers, please let me know!

Try maybe the G2S drivers, I am sure there are some.

Apparently there aren't many G2 Linux users out there. But thank you for the quick reply

I've been using Ubuntu 7.10 for months on my G1s....everything works out of the box except for the Webcam. Even the GPU works. So yeah, surprisingly Ubuntu drivers are really quite good.
