    Dell just called and backordered my laptop again so I'm gonna cancel it. I have a few questions about the g1s though. How long do you guys think the g1s will last before becoming just an average performance machine and would it last at least 4 years if cared for? Thanks

    If I could go back in time I would wait for the 8800 laptops. That being said I still like my G1s a lot =)

    I am expecting a decent year out of it before I start wanting to build a desktop for dx10 games.
