Asus just confirmed they left Taiwan today - they said ETA is now the first couple days of February.
With that said the V6j and W5f are leaving Taiwan around February 14th..... which means they should hit the shore by the end of the month and here and ready to ship probably by the end of the first week of March.

why wouldn't they air ship them - especially the first release of a new product like this?
sure it increases costs a bit but for early adopters that is unlikely to be a real issue? -
I think factoring in Customs, then Fremont and then organizing everything + promotions(maybe?) will take at least a week and perhaps a week and a half.
ASUS have made some booboo's before shipping new units out -
Newbie question. Does BT stand for Blue Tooth? Also did they update anything else on the Z70va? I just ordered one and would hate to learn that there was an important update that would have been good to get. Thanks

Why not air ship them? Mainly because people would complain about paying an extra $100 or more per unit for that first batch..... You'd be surprised at how many people complain if the price drops within a month or so....
BT stands for bluetooth. The z70va is the same unit that's been out since September..... nothing is updated.
Latest Z70va w/ factory BT update.... and more Asus info
