I didn't start recording temperatures until Orthos was already up; that's why the idles seem so high.

Idle CPU in a 73F room is 45C, GPU is 50C.

My "Windows Experience" benchmarks are 6.1 (processor), 6.8 (RAM) 5.9 (Aero), 5.9 (Gaming), and 5.9 (Transfer rate).

Forgot the fact that "stock G51" leaves a lot of wiggle room.

I meant the RX05 since that seems to be the most "basic" of all the G51s.

So ramp up your overclocks and post what you get :)

Haha....stock usually mean non-overclock, not no additional hardware modifications.

Anyways, my score and picture is in my sig.

I've tried to push my GPU more but the OC that i have in the sig is about as high as it gets. I've noticed that once you've gotten to a point, OCing the GPU doesn't really give you much in synthetic benchmarks.

The reason why I can't hit 11K is because my CPU only goes up to 2.3Ghz. It starts getting unstable after that, starts crashing at 2.4, and instant BSODs at 2.5

Best P7350 score (I could have gone with a higher overclock, but I never recorded it.)

I might as well put my results with a better processor.

    With X9100, stock

Best score ever (with X9100) in sig.

Screencapped, then used the Snipping Tool so I could put the cap in with the rest of the charts.

    Read'em and weep, boys.

And yeah, I know its not stock, unless you mean stock hardware.

When I unpacked this out of the box I was getting 9408, so 11630 is something I'm very happy with.

    4GB RAM?

Is that an RX05? If so, how did you get that fancy quad core to work with the stock BIOS?

    Also, big screencap is biiiiiig.

Oh, he has an A1. I was going to say, what the hell was wrong with mine, since I got 8500 out-of-box at 1280x768.

    ;-;

For a second there, I had hope. I'm probably going to pick up a better dual core when my college checks come in if there isn't' a BIOS update.

    Any recommendations?

For benchmark bragging rights? An X9100

For still-great performance and no issues with heat, a P9700.
