Linux will work fine on an N80. I'm using Fedora 10 on mine.

Everything will work. Fingerprint reader, SD reader slot, wireless, etc. You'll need at least kernel 2.6.27 no matter what though, which most distros have anyway.

Well at the end it came up that N80 is currently not available in Europe. So I thought to get a N51V.

So the question is if either UBUNTU or FEDORA or whatever other Linux will work fine on this laptop.

    Thanks again
