    If I install Linux on a partition of my hd, does the DX10 and CPU will support it? And what about XP? Please don't tell me this laptop is made only for Vista...

    DirectX is a proprietary graphics system owned by Microsoft, so it is not supported natively in Linux. You can, however, run DirectX games via Wine or Cedega emulation programs.

    I fully support Linux and use it quite a bit myself... but if you're planning to use a G1s to run games on Linux... well that seems like a bad choice. Linux isn't exactly a gaming platform unless you're running the server for the game. :p
