This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Has anyone succesfully run linux on their W3J? Did it take a lot of work?

    i'm sure it's fine.
    i've run linux on 4 different laptops.
    if yo uhave patience you can get it to work.
    however, ATI's drivers for linux are terrible.
    nVidia is far superior on linux.
    it will work still, but you might have to configure more stuff, and even still have trouble with things like DVD playback (i did on an X1400)
