Trying to use my Z70va more and more. I'm definitively more productive using a mouse instead of the track pad. Logistics questions.
1) It seems foolish to travel with the laptop and not take the ac charger with you. The manufacturer's case, while very nice, does not have any room to carry anything more than the computer and a couple of pieces of paper. Can someone recommend a specific case that securely holds the Z70va and has some spare room for the charger, mouse, and stuff.
2) Can someone recommend a thumb drive (1 gb?) to use to transfer files back and forth.

There are many options for bags, check out ebags.com for a basic listing. If you are willing to pay more, Tom Bihn makes good bags
As for the USB, any will work fine, I have a Kingston myself, and the RMA process was easy as a breeze when it broke on me. -
Maybe you can look into one of those aluminum cases that Justin sells... you might get a discount

This isn't exactly what you asked for, but..
I've been using the Sumdex sleeve I got from ebags ( link).
The fit has been absolutely perfect for my z70va, and I feel very comfortable carrying it in a larger unpadded bag along with accessories, books, or whatever else I am carrying around.
It's also nice to have the smaller package with handles so I can just grab it and take it on the go when the accessories aren't necesary.
Just giving you another option that has worked well for me since I gave up on finding a larger padded bag that would suit my needs.
good luck~ -
Yes, Sumdex's sleeve fits the Z70va so well, it's a perfect fit!

As for USB drives, I highly recommend the Cruzer Titanium. It's speedy AND you can run over it with a small car and still access your data.
