    Hey All,
When I first got my W3V back at the end of last summer, and after undervolting with chc/nhc, my operating temps were around 45 C or so. Over time, though, its been slowly creeping up and now it sits around the mid 60s, hitting mid-70s when watching a DVD or more intense processing. So my fan is now constantly on.

I lifted up the keyboard to try and see if there was dust blocking the fan, etc, but didn't really see much.

Anyone else have this problem, and if so, how did you fix it??

    Thanks,
    Anders

There was a post about that a while back... that sounds like a dust problem =) There was MASS dust clogging it. Good luck man... hope I don't run into this problem with my new W3V...

Yeap, looks like a vent problem, best to take out all the vents at the bottom as well and give it a little compressed air. Even if it doesn't look like there is any, it could be hidden.

Most likely dust is right. It can really only be that or the fan system is not working properly but you said its on all the time. clean it out well.

OK thanks, gonna have to see if I can find out what "compressed air" is in chinese and head over to the local carrefour! For temps this high, must be a lot of dust! Should probably quit smoking while near my computer...
