I looked for a second HDD chassis at the Asus estore and they have several with no specific info about them. Do they all work with this system, or do I need a specific one?

Also, it is to my understanding that Asus has drivers for Windows XP for this system. Is this the case? If so, I might put in a 500 GB 7,200 RPM drive to run Vista 64 and use the HDD it comes with for XP 32.

The Asus G50vt uses standard 2.5inch SATA hard drives. You need to buy the mount kit to install the second HDD.

There are drivers for windows XP and some users might be able to help you with that.

Personally, I would purchase an OCZ vertex SSD hard drive instead of a larger one, and use the 320GB to save files and games. This is because the SSD drive would provide substancial speed increase for windows and aplications.
