The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Looking for F3T experiences

    My current laptop, a Compal 56, is on its last legs so I have been shopping for a new laptop recently. A local computer shop just got this in:

    Asus F3T-AP055C w/ Turion™ 64 X2 TL-60, 1GB, 160GB, DVD+/-RW, 15.4in WSXGA+, Geforce 7600, Vista Home Premium.

    I did a search on this site and found a bit of information on the f3t, and many people thinking about buying one. So, I am wondering if any of these people did buy an F3T and what their views of the computer are.

    I dont know about performance but the spec is decent. The chassis is the same for all F3 laptops so you could check out the reviews here and here.
