This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hello all,

    I am a current owner of an Asus N56VZ-DS71 that I have owned for the past 2+ years. It is one solid laptop and I will be using it for many more years to come. I was trying to track down a new ASUS laptop for a friend, because he really liked mine.

    I am having some troubles finding some GOOD reviews on some of the models I have had my eyes on. I used notebookreview before I had purchased my ASUS years ago and there was a lot of great help. I will quickly list which laptops I have my eyes on. Keep in mind the laptop will have an SSD installed into it.
