    Dear all,

My UL80JT i5 has given me a few issues. The wireless thing is now sorted, thanks to asus, but graphics remains a problem.

The current drivers are 8.15.10.2302 for the integrated intel chip and 8.16.11.8964 for the nvidia 310M chip. I have tried to upgrade the nvidia driver to 8.17.12.5741, which is the latest driver on the asus support page. However, when I do this my comp suffers from random bsods that make it unusable.

I also tried the latest drivers from the nvidia site, which I read some ppl have had limited success, but my comp wouldn’t load properly.

I can live with the setup as it is for the moment as it is usually for work. However, I can’t use IE9, so I’m using firefox and I can’t play dead space 2. Now I am not sure if I can run DS2 on this laptop, but it won’t even get past the loading screen, so that is disappointing.

I am hoping that there is a magic driver combo that some clever person has discovered that will solve my probs. Please let me know what drivers you are using and I will try them out. Thanks in advance.
