    Thread title pretty much says it all. Would it make a noticeable difference (like when playing games) or would it only serve to as a hindrance?

    It's possible it makes a difference because Vista already takes a lot of RAM. But it won't be that significant, so don't let this be a major concern.

    Forget turbo memory. Get the RAM, it'll provide a more significant performance boost.

    Get the free Ram then pay 40$ and get the turbo memory with it.
    This is what I've done.

    I'm not sure the turbo memory is worth even the 40USD investment :)
