    Hi all, looking to put W7 onto my laptop..

    I've reformatted PC's countless of times and everything, but a first for my laptop

    just wanted to know if the process is the same for a laptop, or anything I should know before I reformat?

    I have a G50VT-X6.

    oh and does this void warranty in anyway.

    You just answered your own question, my friend. And yes, it will void your warranty miserably because Asus doesn't like Microsoft.
