Cool, thanks for the pics. Yeah, it looks like Vista's going to include support for those mini heads-up-displays (or whatever you call them).

How do you know that it's specifically a w5? The battery sticking out the rear? :p

Ports places are in the same place in w5f for example. And the design of the rotating webcam, looks a lot = to w5 series i think.
I was confused betwen w5 or w7, but the usb/firewire position and the non rotating camera clears me out. So i go for the w5.

    thx

.... That news is more than a year old..... Bill Gates showed that notebook last year when he was talking about Longhorn.....

That notebook will eventually come out, but I don't think it's going to be THAT exact model. That was prototype to show off the external screen capabilities of the new OS, and Asus plans on having external screens in the future (Asus thinks Spring of next year at the earliest), but at cool of a feature as it is, I don't think Asus is going to actually produce something that would be as thick as that W5 is right now....... so technology has to change and I think eventually it will be a cool thing...... but that is really really old news...... and yet it's still a 10-12 months from even starting to come out.
