Does anyone notice the power cord on the 90W Delta AC Adapter is very loose? On mine the lightest bump can disconnect that cord from the adapter. The one on my old M5 is snug tight and never had problems.

I even tried duct taping the cord to the adapter, still falls off.

Looks like bad design to me.

But in any case, why not try to get the adapter replaced from warranty? Or maybe the fault is with the cable, those 3-prong "Mickey Mouse" :) cables can be found cheap in electrical stores.

Umm... Delta makes lots of different types of adapters. I have a 90W Delta AC adapter on my V1Jp and it isn't loose, but it might not be the same type you have.

Maybe you just got a defective one or the allowable tolerances for both sides of the connector were on opposite ends.

I would call ASUS and have them send a replacement for the adapter cord or the whole brick.

Mine's an ADP-90SB BB. And this adapter is for my F9, my M5 is long gone. It's the part where the wall cable plugs into the adapter, not the plug that goes into the machine.

    I guess I'll give Asus a call.
