In the past couple of days, the AC power to my Zenbook has suddenly started to cycle on and off, due to a loose connection at the DC power jack. At first I thought it was a short in the charger cable, but now I'm starting to think it's the DC jack. Any thoughts on how to proceed? It looks like a new jack is needed, but I also found someone online who claims his similar problem was fixed with a new charging cable/adapter. My biggest concern is that the laptop could go dead if the connection continues to degrade and I can't charge the battery. It's getting pretty bad, I have to hold it just right to keep it charging. FWIW, I'm in North America.
Thanks for any advice.

Very common on all laptops that the DC jack gets loose and needs to be re-solder, I suggest contact Asus service center to get it fix.

Just needed a new charger. If you ask Asus, they might agree to immediately send one out, on your agreement to mail back the old one (you have to send in paperwork including your CC info). Good luck.
Loose connection at DC power jack - power cycles on/off on UX31A when plugged in
