I have a G1, and recently it keeps giving me different kinds of .dll errors. Mainly video card ones. I download and replace them all the time and still after so long I get the errors agian saying it caonnot be found. I get it when running video games full screen, on boot-up, and also when playing media files. Any suggestions?
Also I have updated my video card drivers several times and it still gives me errors. Another problem Im having is my video card keeps reverting to the 1.1.0 version of openGL and I keep having to reinstal the driver to get it back to 2.1 or newer, but agian after some time it reverts to 1.1.0

I also suggest a clean OS installation. Then install the stock drivers. If they work, take it from there and install any updated drivers.
Always use drivercleanerpro to cleanup your system of remnants from old video drivers, whenever you install a new version.
To be on the safe side, also make sure you install firewall, antivirus, and that you do not get a virus or malware. -
Any ideas other than re-formating?

Has running any anti-spyware/spam/virus software yielded any hits? You may be able to get away with it if you can completely clean the offending software from the system. Recommended software: Kaspersky online scan, AVG/Avira Antivir, Spybot S&D, Lavasoft Adaware, Hijack This (be careful with this one, it can really mess up your system if you don't follow the instructions).
Personally, I think installing a software firewall on the system that it is supposed to be protecting is pointless. But, it is a personal choice and many swear by it.
Another suggestion: Install DriverCleaner, set your video card to use stock VGA drivers (640x480, 8 bit color, etc), reboot. Clean out ALL nvidia / ati drivers from your system using DC. Then, reboot. Install the latest driver that you want. Reboot. Cross your fingers.
