I have an asus G50Vt-X1 and it has been a good laptop for a year but now the graphics card is getting to extremely hot temperatures until it reaches 110 and slows down. I want to hear what you guys have to say about how to fix this.

Laptop cooler or at least a stand with holes for air to circulate underneath.
-
Maybe try to clean the vents and the fan by using some compressed air.
-
I have cleaned out the fan area with a q tip. I got some canned air and never used now i forgot that i had it lol. I will try that. I have also ordered thermal compound to put on if i need too but i dont want to take heatsink and pipes off if i dont have to.

If the problem continues and if you still have warranty maybe it would be better to send it back.
Applying thermal compound by yourself could result in loss of warranty if you are not careful with the "Warranty Void" sticker on the heatsink. This is very delicate and can easily break resulting in loss of warranty.

The warranty is aleready expired anyway so i dont really care. I have never put paste on anything before but it sounds like it shouldnt be too hard.
-
Yes usually it is not that hard. Look around in the forum there could be a disassembly guide for your model in case you need it.
-
I have aleready found a manual on the web but it isnt anything you need a manual for anyway. Just take off the back then unscrew heatsinks.
-
Yes, I think it seems like that for your notebook.
For my N71JQ, I have to take the whole thing appart before I can reach the fan.
On N71JQ you have to remove the keyboard, unscrew the upper part and then remove the mainboard before you reach the heatsink.
