I've been looking for a notebook that perfectly fits my needs since February. Initially, the W2j had my preference, then the W1J (which still hasn't been released up till now  ), then the ASUS V1J and finally I've made up my mind.

I'm gonna go for an ASUS W3J, primarily because of it's 14'' screen, which I rather prefer than a 15.4'' screen, and because of its build quality.

Since I visit the forum quite often I know complains Americans have about the fact that ASUS notebooks are normally much later released in the US than in Europe. Well... things seem to have changed, as the only ASUS Core 2 Duo notebooks available in Europe are the ASUS F3 and A8.

I find it strange, since it's normally the other way around. Does anyone/reseller know why this is the case?

Hopefully, it will be here soon as I'd like to buy it ASAP. :)

    Thanks guys!

I'm curious as to what was your reasoning for a 14" screen over a 15.4" since I know you have been eagerly awaiting the V1J.

As for the Netherlands and Core 2 Duo laptops, your guess is as good as mine, but in general when American state Europe gets things first, we generally mean the whole of Europe, there can be certain parts that get different laptop than other countries though.

Could you post a link to where you bought it, if possible, also let us know the specs of your W3J, and enjoy! :D
