This needs to be fixed. It's really, really starting to annoy me. I've searched far and wide and so far all I've found are attempted fixes which don't work.

If anybody knows how to fix this issue, please post here! If you don't know how to fix it, and don't have a solution in mind, please don't reply.

I know that other M50Vm owners have suffered from the same issue.

There are 2 fixes in the main post, and another later in the thread for installing the kb driver.

I have the m50vm-a1, and I had the keyboard lag when I first got it. I put all three fixes in, and now it's not an issue. If you tried the 3 solutions in that post, then you did something wrong, because it works.

I am a bit hesitant to try the first fix. What exactly am I doing by disabling tap zones and edge motion?

    EDIT

I understand what I'm doing with the first fix. However, how could either of these things, which are features of the touch pad, be affecting the keyboard?

    Also

I tried the second fix and the guy who posted it is an idiot and posted it wrong. I then tried his "fixed" fix (which he did not seem confident about) and it did not work.

    EDIT (again)

I tried installing the KB driver a few weeks ago and it did absolutely nothing. It doesn't seem like any of those fixes will work.

Does disabling edge motion mean you can't scroll with the touchpad any more?

Why is there another thread on this? I suggest you continue the discussion on the original M50 keyboard thread. In that way everyone will get the entire relevant info by reading a single thread.
