I'm pretty desperate to use an IR MCE remote I have laying around. I'm running XP on my m50vm-A1 and was wondering if anyone knew of any drivers/methods to get the ITE IR receiver working.

I was actually able to patch together some drivers to get it displaying properly in device manager, but I'm not sure what's needed to actually receive the signals, so I'm not sure if it's a driver issue or if it's some software I'm missing.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I found a program called Remote Control Service (EC) by ITE Tech...Does anyone know if this is what's needed, or how to use it?
