Yes, even though you won't be able to see it...

Just out of curiosity, would the M50Vm trackpad driver work with the G50V trackpad so we can get all those media features?

Or are those features hardware exclusive to the Mx0 series?

Just a thought I though I'd raise with my spare time.

They are totally different touchpads I think, I know the G50V does not have the icons on it or the backlight.

I know it doesn't have the feature but for the most part trackpads are the same thing...they just report an x,y coordinate.
I am also interested in the M50 driver

Im not going to say for sure but for some reason I want to say the M50 has 2 touchpads, one is normal and ones the multimedia and they just are on top of one another. Do not know why that thought enters my head but I swear I read it or dreamed it somewhere.

I will tell you something just as good if not better that I found out about on the eee forums. A program called autohotkey.

Much like my guide on using the wiimote, the program I use is glovepie and you can do almost anything with it since its scripted.

Well autohotkey is the same thing, its a scipted keyboard program, so you can write scripts to do anything from running a macro with a key press, to acting as a mouse button, swap keys around, or launch programs in this case.

Incredibly versatile, once I find the time to dig into learning its scripting language some, I will toss up a little mini guide on it and share what I think are usefull scripts.

Autohotkey is definitely helpful on a gaming computer but lack of extra buttons to bind it to sorta disappoints me.
